In a good location close to the river restaurants and not far from the centre of town, the Phoutthavong has a lobby that s essentially a parking garage, but otherwise has surprisingly nice rooms. All the rooms have hot water bathourooms and TV, and the air con rooms looked and smelled clean and fresh. They even have high ceilings and little breakfast nooks. There s a noodle joint right across the street and it s a short walk to the market by the bridge. Recommended.
