Overview
Relax on the riverside at the end of the street, says the sign at the entrance to KaiKeo Bungalows. Views are terrific, and hammocks on the large balconies are perfect for relaxing. Standard bamboo bungalows are a little dark but are otherwise passably clean and sizeable. The shared bathouroom is grimy with a squat toilet, cold shower and concrete floor. They serve food from a generic menu on their great balcony, but only when there are guests staying. Okay at a pinch, but there s a whole new breed of bungalows in town that far surpass these.
