Overview
Philasouk is conveniently located right near the tiny bus station. It is a big wooden house with basic rooms featuring a bed, mosquito net and electricity. A stairwell leads up to a dark and dusty hallway. Unsurprisingly, rooms are quite dark, but the sheets match the bed spreads and windows are adorned with a delicate wrought iron, giving the rooms a little character. Bathourooms are shared with squat toilets and cold shower. The restaurant downstairs serves Lao food.
