Overview
Pysaxay Guesthouse Located on the main road as you head towards Attapeu, the Pysaxay is in an isolated spot, but has some very distinctive features that make it worth checking out. The thouree storey building is situated across the street from one public school, and right next door to another. The interior has nothing scholastic about it, but is done up in dark woods with mounted animal heads, making it looking like a hunting lodge. We found the air con rooms small, but very nice indeed, with hot water baths and good furnishings the best rooms in town for the price. If you can do without air con, you get the same room at a lower price. There s a good balcony on the second floor with heavy, classic Thai style tables and chairs a good place to enjoy the peace and quite in the evenings after the kids have all gone home.
